The long term outcome of ZANEEP is the development of a culture of working together by facilitating generation of information on Environmental Education through implementation of programmes at local levels in many parts of the country thereby promoting integrated implementation of Environmental Education activities in a much wider area.
Creation of national as well as regional resource centres to facilitate easy access to information as well as platform at which Environmental Education practitioners can exchange, explore and advance ideas so as to encourage commitment amongst themselves in implementing Environmental Education programmes.
Improvement in areas of collaboration particularly in community radio and materials production & dissemination.
Strengthened capacity in members through local and international training.
Production of appropriate education materials for area and problem specific community based non-formal programmes.
Incorporation of environmental education issues in member's programmes and activities.
